Public Kulmwiese for the next generation of snow sports enthusiasts
The second public beginners'/children's skiing area opens on the Kulmwiese in Innerarosa. The free and freely accessible offer makes it easier for youngsters and those returning to snow sports.
Kulmwiese as a gateway to snow sports
Easy, barrier-free and lively access to snow and snow sports is at the centre of the overall Tschuggen Snow Sports Adventure World concept, which Arosa Bergbahnen AG initiated in 2016. Following the popular and much-visited Honigland, which opened on 9 December 2023 as a public and free gateway to snow sports, the second public beginners'/children's skiing area is now available in the Kulmwiese in Innerarosa after the ski cross infrastructure has been cleaned up.
The pony lift and the practice area in the Kulmwiese can be used free of charge by all guests, young and old, as well as snow sports schools and is open daily from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm and from 1.00 to 4.00 pm (from 27 January 2024 until 4.30 pm). The Kulmwiese is operated and maintained by Arosa resort lifts.
Splash of colour at the Tschuggen snow sports adventure world
The snow sports adventure world Tschuggen is a project by Arosa resort lifts with the aim of making snow sports attractive and promoting them for young people in Arosa Lenzerheide. Arosa wants to capitalise on its advantage as a Ski Area in the village at 1,800 metres above sea level with guaranteed snow and stage the area around Tschuggen in an imaginative way. After the Honigland as a public and free access island to the snow in 2017, the next stage followed the following year with the sleeping Tomeli bear and the Bärensnowpark at the skilift Ried. In 2021, the «Zappelbär search game» was added as the 3rd stage, followed by the freely accessible public Kulmwiese in the same year. In the final stage, a gentle staging of «Beerenland» is planned as an analogy to «Honigland».
